Northern Ireland’s leading network for women in the workplace, Women in Business, has announced a three-year renewal of its key partnership with Allstate NI to further accelerate equality in the workplace.
Extending its collaboration to 2025, Women in Business and Allstate NI will continue to generate new opportunities for female business leaders and entrepreneurs on the shared values of diversity, equality and inclusivity.
Since first becoming a Women in Business partner in 2019, Allstate NI has closely aligned with the female-focused business network and was actively involved in this year’s Voices of Leadership Conference and the Women in Business Press Refresh programme for women returners.
With its 7500+ member network, Women in Business has pioneered female leadership opportunities and this year launched the Women in Tech Awards, the first ceremony of its kind in Northern Ireland, where Allstate’s John Healy was awarded Male Advocate of the Year.
Lorraine Acheson, Managing Director of Women in Business, spoke on the partnership and its continued positive impact: “As a global organisation with deep roots in NI’s tech space, Allstate has been a pivotal player in advancing the conversation around workplace equality and creating a pipeline of tech talent on our doorstep. We’re delighted to take this partnership forward beyond 2022 as we continue to harness the combined knowledge pool and tech tenacity of Allstate with Women in Business to engender long-term change to business equality here locally.”
Allstate NI and its strong track record of successfully integrating diversity into the organisational culture has resulted in the launch of an internal female-led employee resource group, Women in Tech at Allstate, boasting over 250 members to engage with, and advocate for, NI’s women in tech.
John Healy, Managing Director at Allstate NI, added: “At Allstate, we’re delighted with the opportunity to build on the strong foundations laid with Women in Business and further accelerate opportunities for all female business leaders, whether they are employees or entrepreneurs.
“Our long-standing partnership recognises diversity, equity and inclusivity as powerful agents of change within the workplace, and we look forward to continuing to work hand-in-glove with Women in Business to maximise potential locally.”
