Mentoring, Coaching and Line Managing apprentices can be complicated. As a mentor you have to provide some technical help, offer guidance on working habits, look out for personal resilience and wellbeing, and offer challenging feedback. All while carrying out your own responsibilities!
This will prove to be an insightful workshop with expertise from James McSporran that will help you become a better mentor. Lunch and regular coffee breaks included!
About the event speaker
James McSporran has 15 years of qualified facilitation & coaching experience across all leadership levels. His unique method blends ideas from psychology, executive education and performance coaching, allowing for genuine personal and team development.
He regularly works with executive leadership teams to deliver workshops, keynotes & 1:1 coaching. With a relational style, he helps clients explore issues while intelligently offering challenge, provocation, and an alternative perspective.
Clients include BP, Nestle, YPO, Barclays, NHS, RBS, Sellafield, Alvarez & Marsal, Grant Thornton, Caffè Nero, Scottish Water, Sainsburys, Queen’s University Belfast. Half of his work is also in the creative industry, working closely with talent in TV, film, music and advertising.
