Trans Europe Express plan for the future with appointment of new Director

International freight-forwarder, Trans Europe Express Ltd., is planning for the future, with the recent appointment of Ryan McGovern, as a Director of the business.
The Warrenpoint based company is a widely recognised name within the transport and logistics sector in Northern Ireland, having celebrated it’s 30-year anniversary in 2020, and with an established client base across the island of Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
The appointment will see Ryan join his father, Vincent McGovern, Founder and Managing Director, as part of the management team, and he will lead on operational activities, as well as business development and sales.
Since joining the family-owned business in 2017, Ryan has worked across most areas of the company, helping to guide the business through a tumultuous period for the freight sector, including the Covid-19 pandemic and the out-workings of the Brexit referendum particularly – which continue to dominate local economic and political headlines.
Speaking about his new Director role, Mr McGovern said, “I am very proud to become a director in our family business, Trans Europe Express.
