Senior Appointments at AIB

AIB (NI) has made several new appointments as it bolsters its corporate and business team in Northern Ireland.

The leading bank has made the appointments from within its senior team and will see Seamus McGuckin, AIB’s new Head of Corporate NI and Roisin Keenan, Head of Business Banking NI work closely together to help local businesses grow for the future.

Seamus McGuckin, Head of Corporate NI
As head of Corporate NI, Seamus leads local engagement and early-stage new lending for corporate and large-scale businesses and customers.

Working in partnership with his counterparts across the AIB Group, Seamus and the local team will work closely with sector specialists across UK and RoI to support customers and to drive progress and growth in the Northern Ireland marketplace.

With over 20 years’ experience across the finance sector, Seamus joined AIB in 2017, leading its business banking team.

With a breadth of service expertise including finance, investment and capital markets, Seamus brings a depth of understanding to businesses and industry to help local firms achieve the future they’re after.

An active member of the local business community, Seamus is a Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce Council member and drives the bank’s Sustainability Programme partnership with the Chamber to help foster positive engagement with the climate change agenda.

Roisin Keenan, Head of Business NI
Having been with AIB for over 22 years, Roisin has been appointed to the role of Head of Business NI.

Her experience spans corporate banking, mortgages, retail banking and transformation change, making her ideally placed to lead AIB’s business banking team.

Working closely with the corporate banking team, Roisin will manage engagement with local businesses and customers to support their growth aspirations.

In this new role, Roisin will continue to enhance AIB’s customer service delivery in Northern Ireland, capitalising on the business banking’s team reputation for commitment, dedication, and outstanding sectoral experience.
