FinTrU employees, families and friends join the celebrations at the Belfast Mela Colour Procession Parade

The streets of Belfast city centre were soaked in colour on Saturday as the annual Belfast Mela Colour Procession Parade took to the streets.

Belfast Mela is Northern Ireland’s largest celebration of cultural diversity with the parade kicking off a week-long programme of world, music, dance, food and art.

Led by our TrUly Diverse Committee, employees were dressed in white t-shirts – the perfect blank canvas to welcome all the colourful powders which were thrown in celebration – as they joined the masses in a day of celebration and unity.

We are proud to be an official Friend of Mela this year and look forward to the rest of the week’s events. Diversity and inclusion has been an important part of FinTrU’s journey so far and is at the forefront of our future.

The festival runs until Friday 25 August and the full list of events can be found on the Belfast Mela website.
