NI Chamber and SONI, Northern Ireland’s Electricity Transmission System Operator, invite you to the next Energy Forum on Monday 5 June from 3.00-5.00pm at Custom House, Belfast.
We are pleased to confirm that Dave McGowan, Head of Power System Insights and Research at SONI, will discuss the updated ‘Shaping Our Electricity Future’ initiative by setting out what needs to happen to the power system to meet 80% by 2030.
Energy Commentator, Jamie Delargy will provide an independent perspective on what needs to be done to bring the general public on board for the transition to green energy and net zero journey.
Peter Russell, Director of Electricity and Security of Supply at the Department for the Economy, will provide an update on the Energy Action Plan for 2023 which was published in March 2023, and more.
