David Phelan, Innovation Partner at Digital Catapult, will open the event by setting the scene on how businesses can define and harness innovation to shape their future.
He will explore what innovation truly means beyond just technology, why it is critical for growth and competitiveness, and how businesses can build a forward-thinking strategy.
Focusing on fostering a culture of creativity and adaptability, David will conclude with a call to action, urging companies to embed innovation into their core practices to remain relevant and sustainable.
Peter Smyth of Bidvest Noonan, experienced in implementing innovation within the Facilities Management sector, will follow with showcasing real-world applications of innovation.
His presentation will include live demonstrations on:
- Autonomous Machines – with a live demo of cleaning robots and ‘Spot’ the security dog working autonomously.
- Dynamic Workplace Sensor Solutions – showing how sensors flex cleaning solutions, enhance quality and increase energy efficiency, along with live feeds to buildings.
- TwinSpace Digital Twin Technology – demonstrating how to map buildings for virtual training and resource management.
