As we approach the one-year anniversary of the Windsor Framework, NI Chamber will host an online update, providing an analysis of its implementation to date and an overview of what to expect in the year ahead. As a member, you are invited to attend the session on Tuesday 27 February from 9.00-10.30am.
Stuart Anderson, Head of Public Affairs at NI Chamber will provide a summary of the Windsor Framework agreement between the UK and EU, as well as the changes brought around by the recent deal between the UK government and the Democratic Unionist Party.
We are also pleased to be joined by experts from KPMG Ireland and Invest Northern Ireland.
Frankie Devlin and David Reaney, Indirect Tax Partners at KPMG Ireland will cover customs and VAT changes, with a particular focus on preparation for 1 October 2024. Ann Beggs, Director of Trade and Investment, and Peta Conn, Regional Director, Head of Territory – GB and Europe at Invest NI will explore the potential opportunities presented by dual market access and outline what support is available for NI firms to access GB and EU markets.
