GMcG Directors Susan Dunlop, Lyn Canning Hagan and Gill Johnston will take to the dizzy heights of the roof of Belfast’s Europa Hotel for an abseil on September 25th, all in aid of GMcG’s 2022 charity partner, NI Hospice!

GMcG is delighted to have partnered with NI Hospice, a charity that continues to deliver important palliative care services throughout our communities. The employees of GMcG’s three offices nominated this charity to receive GMcG’s support and they have been fantastic in supporting numerous fundraising initiatives during the year.

With this in mind, GMcG’s three female Directors were gently persuaded to take on some sort of challenge for the fundraising effort. Susan Dunlop explains:

“I would have preferred a coffee morning myself but, somehow, we have managed to end up at the Europa Hotel, getting set for an abseil down the face of the building on September 25th!

To say this is out of our comfort zone would be quite an understatement and we’re actually trying really hard not to think about it at all! It must have been a moment of weakness and a bit of peer pressure but we’re signed up and there’s no going back now. We just keep reminding ourselves that it is for a very worthwhile cause!”

Susan, Lyn and Gill would really appreciate as much support as possible, for people to get behind them and donate whatever they can for such a great charity. The support will mean a lot to the charity and to our three brave volunteers!
