H&J Martin LTD receive special award acknowledging 10 years of Corporate Social Responsibility for Cancer Fund for Children

Children’s cancer charity, Cancer Fund for Children has presented H&J Martin LTD with a Corporate Social Responsibility award recognising 10 years of support.
This special award acknowledges the outstanding commitment the asset management business has made through volunteering, training opportunities, gifts in kind, fundraising and more, and their generosity has extended to their supply chain with H&J Martin’s contractors getting involved to provide support.
Over the past 10 years the H&J Martin team has helped Cancer Fund for Children maintain their buildings to the highest standards, including the charity’s therapeutic centre Daisy Lodge in Newcastle Co. Down where they provide therapeutic short breaks to over 450 families impacted by cancer every year. H&J Martin’s consistent support has allowed Cancer Fund for Children to focus on their mission which is to ensure no chid across the island of Ireland has to face cancer alone.
Speaking at the award presentation, Cancer Fund for Children’s IT and Facilities Manager Corinna Decodts said,
“We are so grateful to H&J Martin for our amazing and unique partnership. Looking back over the past 10 years their dedication to corporate social responsibility and giving back to the community has been outstanding. They have instilled a culture of CSR within their organisation that is contagious. It flows throughout their supply chain with their contractors stepping forward to help us to support children and young people impacted by cancer across the island of Ireland.
This ethos and everyday practice of CSR is exceptional and today we want to acknowledge and congratulate H&J Martin for all they have achieved. Without their continued support we could not maintain our therapeutic short break centre and Narnia residential log cabin to the highest standards. It is a privilege to work alongside a team that are passionate about our services and committed to doing whatever they can to help our charity.”
