Netwalks, created by Small Business Britain and led by engaging local small businesses, give you a chance to get out of your usual workplace and meet up with other local businesses. Share ideas and experiences, build your small business support network and make time to walk and talk.
The Netwalks allow you to take some time for self-care, to enjoy some fresh air and a change of scenery and to help self-manage your mental health wellness.
Local entrepreneur Louise Brogan who runs LinkedIn with Louise, a LinkedIn marketing agency, helps to organise and lead the ‘Netwalks’ in Belfast. Several entrepreneurs from across the area came together for a gentle stroll that finished with refreshments at Paper Cup cafe beside the Titanic.

Louise said, “it is so good to get out of your business for a morning, meet fellow small business owners and have a chat while also getting your steps in!”
“The world is a challenging place for business owners at the moment, but taking a break, getting out in the fresh air and having a chat with likeminded people can help reduce stress, break down problems and create exciting new opportunities and friendships,” said Michelle Ovens CBE, founder of Small Business Britain.
“We are delighted to bring Netwalks to Belfast and would urge people across the area to get involved and let us know how they have found the experience.”
“In this tough economic climate, small businesses need more support than ever to flourish, innovate and connect with likeminded individuals – which is why we are proud to have partnered with Small Business Britain on these nationwide Netwalks,” said Chris Sims, Managing Director – Small and Medium Enterprise, BT.
“Recent research from BT found that one fifth of small business owners feel ‘behind the times’ and 16% feel ‘stressed’ in relation to their digital skills. The aim of these walks is to provide a collaborative atmosphere for small business owners to network and share knowledge, ultimately driving growth.”
The next Belfast netwalk will be on Friday 7th July and all are welcome. Please sign up in advance on the link below.
