Mayor’s Visit to Leading Tech Company Showcases Borough’s Thriving Sector

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Mark Cooper BEM visited InspecVision to see first-hand the cutting-edge technology produced within its Mallusk facility and learn more about how the company has become a global export success story.

InspecVision Ltd design and manufacture vision-based 2D and 3D measurement machines for quality control of industrial parts, including the Planar 2D which is the world’s fastest sheet metal inspection machine.  The company’s successes are clearly evident from its impressive client portfolio which includes global companies, Tesla, ArcelorMittal and multiple component suppliers to tech giant, Apple.

Founded by Dr Jan Antonis and his father in 2003, the company has gone from strength to strength, exporting to over 30 countries across the globe and as a result has gained recognition through various awarding bodies. Earlier this year, they were awarded “Exporter of the Year” at the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) awards and were shortlisted for “Excellence in Exporting” in the Belfast Telegraph awards.

InspecVision are working with the Council’s Economic Development Team on their continued growth in the Borough, and potential skills and training opportunities for young people.
