This milestone achievement is attributed to the strategic expansion of their state-of-the-art plantation shutter factory in Pennybridge Industrial Estate, Ballymena. Since this expansion, the company’s manufacturing output has nearly doubled from 1,500m² in the first year to just under 3,000m² last year.
Creating New Roles
The new manufacturing facility has also created five new full-time production roles and necessitated the expansion of their specialist installation team. These new roles not only signify Village Blinds and Shutters’ dedication to supporting economic growth but also highlight their investment in nurturing local talent and expertise within their workforce.

By centralising manufacturing operations, Village Blinds and Shutters now produces high-quality shutter products that are reinforced with aluminium, ensuring enhanced durability and aesthetic appeal.
