Phoenix Energy is proud to announce that it recently received the international standards accreditation from BSI for its inclusive service offering for customers who find themselves in vulnerable situations. The certification process allowed us to demonstrate successfully that the services we provide are fair, flexible and accessible to all.
Receiving the award on behalf of Phoenix Energy, Joanne Quinn, Director of Regulatory Affairs, said, “We are delighted to be recognised for our work in Inclusive Service. At Phoenix, our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and we have been fortunate to have strong relationships with our customer base over the past 28 years through our direct channels of contact. Our Customer Vulnerability Working Group meets regularly as we recognise that this space is ever evolving and there is always more we can do to ensure that every customer feels recognised and represented when they engage with Phoenix.”

Our customer facing teams are trained to identify signs of customers who have evident physical challenges, as well as less visible circumstances that are likely to benefit from specific considerations when we are delivering our services. With this increased customer need in mind, we were keen to benchmark our existing, established Inclusive Service strategy against this international standard.”
