Uform is delighted to unveil its latest collection of STORI brochures which now carry green credentials as part of the company’s continued commitment towards building a more sustainable future.
In addition to offering digital options for all its trade and end consumer brochures, Uform’s printed literature is now 100% FSC approved, including the new STORI brochures. As well as being FSC approved, the brochures also carry World Land Trust (WLT) credentials for their use of carbon balanced paper, meaning that the emissions associated with their production are balanced (offset) by the global conservation charity.
By choosing carbon-balanced paper that’s sourced from well-managed forests and recycled sources, Uform is now able to produce the same high-quality print materials for its customer base, while also continuing to build on its sustainability strategy. Through using carbon balanced paper, WLT has advised that it’s a simple choice that will help meet the growing demand for sustainability. These contributions also further support the protection of land from deforestation and degradation by ensuring that carbon remains locked-up within these invaluable ecosystems and the trees can continue to absorb CO2.
Commenting on the new STORI brochures, STORI Brand Manager Shaunagh Devlin says, “We’re really pleased to be able to offer a more sustainable form of printed literature that not only looks beautiful in terms of its quality but more imperatively, the new environmentally friendly print process it undergoes.
Every STORI brochure that’s manufactured using carbon balanced paper is a step towards a greener future and this latest step strongly aligns with the values of our STORI brand. We’re delighted to be able to now offer a more sustainable print offering for our retailers and end consumers.”
Uform is delighted to add that the company has made a donation to the World Land Trust towards their Plant A Tree Today Programme.
According to the World Land Trust, the world loses the equivalent of 31 football pitches of forest every single minute. Reforestation is one of the main ways of restoring damaged ecosystems, and through the charity’s Plant A Tree Today Programme, we can play a part in bringing vital forest habitats back to life.
