Cancer Fund for Children is a non-profit organisation that aim to connect, empower and strengthen children and young people impacted by cancer across the island of Ireland.
We provide informal social and emotional support to patients and their families, including community and hospital based Cancer Support Specialists, and therapeutic short breaks, at Daisy Lodge, in Newcastle, Co. Down.
Each year, we provide our vital support services to over:
- 1,500 children and young people impacted by cancer on the hospital ward, and their home and communities
- 450 families through therapeutic short breaks at Daisy Lodge
With a mission that no child faces cancer alone, Cancer Fund for Children work to ensure that every young person under the age of 25 receives the right support to help them cope better with the impact of cancer.
