Following publication of an Action Plan in response to the Independent Review of Invest NI, Suzanne Wylie, Chief Executive, Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NI Chamber) said:
“In Northern Ireland, there is significant scope for economic growth. Businesses are pivoting in response to a green, clean and highly-digitised landscape and many are currently reporting strong levels of confidence.
“To reach their fullest potential, the capabilities of our companies need to be supported by an economic development programme which is as agile and ambitious as they are and focuses on helping them to overcome challenges, including raising levels of productivity.
“The pursuit of a 10X economy is a shared goal and we welcome the commitment to change contained within the Action Plan.”
