NI Chamber welcomes the Finance Minister’s announcement of the next non-domestic rates revaluation Reval26.
This is consistent with a long running business ask of regular revaluation to support consistency, fairness and predictability with the rate. Early engagement is crucial, and it is our understanding LPS will soon begin to issue letters or emails to businesses, inviting them to complete a Rent & Lease Questionnaires (RALQs). They should start to arrive around the 8 April. All RALQs can be completed online.
Some key dates for members:
- The valuation date for Reval2026 is 1 April 2024.
- LPS asks that all RALQ information is submitted by 30 June 2024.
- The information collected will be used to develop a New Valuation List.
- The New Valuation List will take effect for billing purposes on 1 April 2026.
LPS has created a Reval2026 website with some information about the process and answers to frequently asked questions. The website can be found here:

Along with regular revaluations, NI Chamber continues to advocate for a competitive non domestic rates system, and has recently responded to the Department’s consultation on its industrial derating policy (supporting its retention) which is available on our website.
